"George and Subhas home was perfect for our family to spend a weekend in southern Connecticut while in town for the weekend to visit friends. We have two young daughters (age 1 and age 6) and always try to find places to stay where they can have their own room. The rooms were very spacious and clean, with VERY comfortable king beds. Our babies pack and play actually fit perfectly in the closet which was great, since our girls go to bed at separate times. The big windows in the primary bedroom had the most beautiful sunrise view of the lake. The property itself is amazing, overlooking the water with a couple spots to hang out outdoors … it’s definitely on the rustic side getting down to the lake/dock, so sneakers and flashlights would be a good idea if going down at night to sit on the dock. They were kind enough to let us have our local friends hang out with us for a few hours in the evening on the dock. We loved sitting on the lake on a warm summer night.. really a magical place! In the morning, my husband and 6 year old took one of the canoes out (they provided life jackets) and they loved it. We wouldnt hesitate booking here again the next time we are coming to Connecticut, as it’s truly a great location and home. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cute house which was so conveniently located near our family in Rye. My husband and I stayed here along with our son and daughter-in-law. There was also a tiny 3rd bedroom if we had needed it for our other son. The house was completely renovated and spotlessly clean. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to town! "

"Super clean, comfortable for 2 adults..kids ok in bunk beds but wouldnt reconebd more tgan 2 adults. Parking spot is nuce, location not so great"

"Quiet street, everything we needed! Comfy King Bed and 4 King Pillows, Linens smelled so fresh! We appreciated the king bedroom had nightstand lamps. Plenty of toilet paper, premium paper towel roll, dish soap, sponge, "clean" hand soaps, a (split unit) AC in every room with their own thermostats. Laundry in Kitchen was very useful. (Don't use washer late at night, spin cycle is very loud/vibration though!) We found some laundry soap packets on shelf. Yay!Great space, great deck patio. So many trees and birds. Neighbor houses are close but a charming and cozy scenery. The street is very walker friendly. Boxcar Cantina and Canoe resturants are a short walk away if you dont want to drive. We enjoyed our stay visiting nearby family! "
