"We were so delighted with our stay and the accommodations offered at Dakota! We arrived in Glasgow and dropped bags off there prior to hiking the West Highland Way. At one point, in the middle of our hike, we considered getting off trail and booked an additional night at Dakota, but when our bus never arrived, we were forced to call and cancel that last minute reservation. The service provided for the cancellation was lovely. When we did arrive for our scheduled stay, the staff had kindly upgraded our room, provided a box of chocolates, and a hand-written note. The accommodations were immaculate. The bed was super comfortable. The minibar items are complimentary, and the cocktails at Jack's Bar were well-crafted and delicious. We will enthusiastically recommend the Dakota to anyone visiting Glasgow and will be sure to book a reservation if ever we return! "

"Great given the price. The people at the front desk were very nice. When we arrived early (due to our flight) they let us leave our luggage at the hotel and told us they could check us in 3 hours early if we came back at noon. Just a heads up, right now they have a deal that if you order through their site you get free breakfast! Not sure if that deal is still on but we saw signs/posters for it :)"

"Will definitely stay here again. So funny, during my stay the fire alarm went off around 10pm and we all had to evacuate. No emergency though and we were cleared to go back in within 15 minutes. Such a funny memory for a night in Glasgow. At least their fire alarm works!!! Very clean and modern. I loved the location. Every place I went was walkable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. "
