Lakes Hotel and Spa

"Room was clean, towels were not changed daily and tea/coffee facilities were not replenished every day, luckily I had taken my own. Staff very friendly, breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Pool area was good main pool was bright but a bit dark and dangerous in areas, the hot tub was not very clean or clear you could not see the steps to get in, needs lighting to see where you are going, health a safety hazard. Nice to have a bar on the poolside, and it stayed open till late. Lots of people in the on-site pub in bathrobes eating and drinking as you had to go through pub to get to the pool. Good in the pub had a good variety to choose from reasonable priced. All in all it was a nice hotel and a pleasant stay, but the pool area definitely needs to a bit brighter to see where you are going."

"Really easy to find, you have masses of parking available to you, and the bed was really comfy. The lake view is a huge bonus too - it was gorgeous to wake up to and not what you normally get view wise for a budget motorway services hotel haha. Nice hot shower, clean bedding and towels, and everything worked and functioned as expected. Would definitely stay again"

"Hotel and location lovely. We were just slightly disappointed in the spa, after a long day walking we were looking forward to relaxing in the spa with a jacuzzi/ hot tub but there was only a pool."

"In easy reach of Bowness, lovely private location, ample free parking. Rooms very clean and great in room facilities. Just think room service breakfast could have ended a little later especially if paid for a late check out"
