"We booked the property to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday so there were lots of people ranging from 2 months old to 102 years old! The house itself is fab and the accommodation on offer was great. Location is excellent being near Bolam Lake with some good walks. We had a few teething problems in terms of heating and some supplies but all in all had a good stay"

Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. The house was perfect for what we needed. Plently of room and commual areas for our large family, the living room was a great layout for playing family games. "The kitchen had no heating, was freezing trying to make food, towards end of stay a leak from the boiler appeared. Just was a nightmare with heating not having in every room etc. kitchen was full of condensation on walls running down etc. didn't enjoy the stay"

"Good communication and ease of booking. Very easy to find. Parking not to difficult although not outside (as listing says). Great location with just a short walk into town. Heating good and needed in January. Loads of hot water for the group and good showers. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Would recommend. Only negative bathrooms not cleaned from previous booking."
