"Arrived in my room and there was no toilet paper, shower gel , and the towels were stained. I called to get toilet paper 2 times and waited 45 min and no one came. I went to the front desk and asked for the manager and told him about the situation . I waited 45 more minutes and no toilet paper or shower gel. Called the third time and the toilet paper arrived and no shower gel. Very poor or really no management at this hotel."

"I always stay at Edsa Shangrila for the convenience and service , but this trip they haven’t fully paid much to cleanliness especially the bathroom otherwise their service , surroundings of the hotel are always presentable to the guests"

"This was NOT the hotel I meant to stay in. I was booking for Holiday Inn & Suites at Glorietta in Makati and somehow booked to the one in Quezon City. (1st problem) The staff were polite and professional; however, they have their work cut out for them in a hotel that obviously is WAY overdue for a remodel. The rooms were outdated. The carpet was worn and stained. The bathroom was dark and the falling apart. The door frames showed obvious signs of water damage. Nonetheless, since we had prepaid AND were only staying for one night, we could tough it out. Then came the breakfast buffet. It had a large selection of items for every palate. And we were quickly sat. However, when I went to grab the serving spoon for the white rice. There was a huge black roach that came out from under it and then ran onto the rice. I went to grab some bread, same thing, except multiple roaches. I simply went back to my table. My wife asked what's wrong. I told her. She asked if I told the staff and then she promptly got up to verify what I saw, which she did, and confronted the staff. They said, "I tried to catch the ipis (roach) but he was too fast and got away. Then one of the cooks came out to refill the fresh fruit bowl with watermelon etc. He poured the remaining fruit into a new bowl and headed for the prep area near the omelet station to get some more. As he walked that way, he stuck the serving spoon into his mouth. And put it back into the bowl. I cannot recommend staying here."

"The room is very dated and the lift was extremely slow. The breakfast selection was very limited (I paid $1,200 php for it) and I was not served the eggs that I’ve ordered after waited for 30 mins. Bad experience and would not suggest the hotel to my family, friends and colleagues."

"We had a wonderful stay at Pandora's Nest! The complimentary amenities were a lovely touch - eggs, rice, water, snacks, and chocolate for the kids made us feel right at home. Everything was easily accessible, and I enjoyed my morning coffee without having to step out. The instant coffee and water boiler kettle were great perks. Communication with the host was excellent, and they even helped us find a parking spot for a minimal fee and hooked us up easily with WIFI! We explored the area and found some great affordable restaurants, like the SM food court, which was just a less than 5-minute drive away. We also did some grocery shopping at Alfa Mart, which was conveniently located near the building. The kids had a blast at the playground in the nearby park, and we enjoyed the night market, which was lively and fun. The location was great, with easy access to CCF via jeepney, and electric cart rides available if needed. The warm water shower was a treat, and the place smelled great! Mr. Jack set the bar high - the place we next booked, didn't quite match up."
