"Snug Harbor is simply amazing, and is truly a home away from home. The location is on the water with amazing views of the lighthouse and the poines. There are tiki huts, lawn chairs, etc. for you to enjoy. Basia and Captain John can take you on kayak and boat tours. I highly recommend taking a guided tour as you learn so much history. Our hosts were so committed to us having a great time and went the extra mile so we could see the poines every chance possible. The cottages are comfortable...

"This was a convenient nice cottage not far from Maddox and piney island / community boat ramp/kayak launch. Added bonus pet friendly. We had a very nice stay at this location. Easy check in & check out."

"Tiny, but perfect for 2 people. The screened in porch was a huge bonus, we spent alot of time out there in the comfy hammock chairs without having to worry about bugs. The listing is misleading with the "water view" though. Its close to the water but theres a row of houses between that blocks the view. Overall great stay, easy check-in, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely come back"

"Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic."

"The property was very interesting to us with all the different paintings on the walls and some of the doors. We enjoyed playing air hockey, pool and checkers. We also enjoyed the fire pit. We had a great time."

"Had an Awsome 8 days , views were amazing from just about everywhere in the house. Fishing was good from dock, crabbing was slow, a little late in the season. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The restaurant just down the street had very good food, especially the fish tacos. No issues at all during our stay. Beautiful club house, indoor pool and golf course."

"My husband and I and both of our dogs loved this panoramic hideaway. No matter the weather our view was gorgeous. The design of the home seemed curated and was luxurious and tasteful. I was also able to purchase a temporary pass for the marina where I kept up with my lap swimming. They also offer tennis and pickle ball. (And I think I saw some manicures happening too!). It’s true that you must bring your own food because there aren’t any grocery stores around. It’s a 20 minute trip each way. But...

"We stayed with our adult children, the house is right on the water, we really enjoyed the easy access to the dock. We enjoyed that we had fairly quick access to Chincoteague, but had a much quieter setting than we would have if we were on the island."
