"The hotel property and our room was looking run-down and shabby. It’s obvious that things like carpets, walls, trim, elevators, etc. have not been kept up. Our room smelled kind of musty, the carpets had stains, and there were some stains on the bathroom wall. The run-down nature of the hotel just makes it look not clean and not appealing. Some front desk staff are great - others are not very attentive and make you feel like it’s a chore to help you. There are no luggage carts to help haul stuff...
