"Patio window broken, food still in fridge, communal areas filthy and covered in pigeon mess. Communal areas also had very strong dirty smell. Flat itself was OK (apart from the above) but the door did not look very secure."

"A comfortably sized apartment with some nice furnishings and a great TV but the kitchen was very poorly equipped - not a single saucepan, utensil or oven tray - so 'self-catering' was not really an option. There was only one wine glass too (we bought and donated a couple of flutes). No tea-towel, hand-towel or bath mat was provided and half a flimsy toilet roll was inadequate for a long weekend stay. 100% polyester bedding spoilt an otherwise comfortable bed. The location was very convenient but...

"Brilliant location and apartment for first direct arena- sat nav takes you to loads of apartments - needs to state centenary house. Key code box impossible to find thankfully a resident showed us. Apartment on 3rd floor not as numbering 45 would suggest and told fourth floor - apartment great though and so central - comms with owner great - would stay again !!!"

"Went direct to the hotel from Thirsk, and arrived at 10.30 am. The receptionist was very polite and let us store our cases until we could check in at 3pm. Easy check-in, and had a river facing room on the third floor. Beautiful room, and great bathroom ( the shower was a drencher but there was a shower cap) and lovely view. Blackout curtains and spacious with enough coat hangers for our stay. This is the second time we have stopped and may be tempted to make it a regular yearly hotel as everywhere was exceptionally clean, with a nice smell. Central enough for walking from the train station and close to the town centre."
