The property was clean and comfortable, with the added touches of fresh bread, milk, and marmalade. The gated property provides a great sense of security and privacy, and the adjacent garden is perfect for playtime. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. And if you have the chance to visit the nearby Aviation Heritage museum, do take the opportunity."

"Customer service is horrendous, it’s like trying to communicate with a robot! House is tired and in need of modernisation and repair. The boiler is broken has to have an engineer out on the day we arrived as no hot water. Boiler broke every day and we had to relight the pilot light. Out of hours phone number provided dosent exist!!!!!! "

"Our stay at Abbey Farm was just amazing! I was over with a group of Italian students to learn more about English life and culture, and their experience in this beautiful, historical house was perfect. The house is spacious with quirky attic rooms, and a spectacular garden. It's beautifully furnished with fireplaces, vases of flowers, pictures, books etc, so it really feels like a home. "This house was perfect for two families to stay in for the week. The garden is enormous so plenty of room for kids to run off their energy. The house itself was comfortable and clean. The location is relatively remote being accessed down single track lanes, which meant it was very peaceful, but still only 10 minutes from a shop. We were still generally within 30 minutes of the places we wanted to visit. The Indian takeaway in Poringland was excellent too!"
