"Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Staff were very welcoming.Room was fine just a little warm so just left the widow open a little. Toilets & showers were clean. Kitchen was great. Breakfast was okay wouldve been better if the bacon / hash browns were warmer. Good for a hungry person as they give you more if you ask. Had very noisy neighbours but thats not the staffs fault just very thoughtless people that obviously thought they had the whole building to themselves."

"When we arrived our original accommodation was no longer available due to essential work going on. Hotel upgraded us to a de luxe room with lake view, and gave us 7 days of full English breakfasts, all at no extra charge. Excellent staff! Friendly and approachable. "The lodge was just as described - very modern, clean and cosy. The site itself was also lovely. This was the perfect place to stay, close enough to Keswick for things to do but away from the crowds. Highly recommend a stay here, we will be back for sure! "
