"Stayed for a week in Little Pythorn cottage, the location is on a remote sheep farm and you get that feeling that you are in the middle of nowhere, this was great for us as we liked the isolation. The cottage is finished to a very high standard and no expense has been spared with the fixtures and fittings, my wife loved the sheep theme throughoutI would recommend the cottage if you are looking for the peace and quiet that the remote location gives you but if you are expecting to be able to walk...

"Our stay at this property was so bad that we actually left after the first night there. We were not provided with any check in information and had to ring the property owner to find out how to get into the property just before we arrived. We arrived with our dog and 3 month old daughter and were shocked to find food (melted cheese) dropped onto trays in the oven and sauce splattered in the microwave. I had to clean the kitchen and all items on arrival and all surfaces felt grubby and unclean....

"Absolutely brilliant cottage. All new fixtures and fittings with everything you could need for your stay. The drains smell came and went- not sure where it came from and it didn’t really bother us. Location fantastic for walks along the coast and short drive to other coastal towns. Would recommend"

"Our weekend in this cottage was comfortable and cosy. There was plenty of space for the two of us and it would be excellent for families as there are two lounge areas, one very spacious on the top floor. We appreciated the efficient log burner and were provided with all the equipment we needed. The views were lovely with one side looking over a field with horses, alpacas and pheasants. Contact with the owner was excellent. A lovely place to stay."

"The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

"Amazing stay at St Hildas Complex..Beautiful accommodation in a area surrounded by walks to the sea..Fab food and the nicest staff you could ever wish to meet. Not forgetting Dora the adorableCockerpoo...If your thinking of holidaying near Staithes/runswick Bay / Sandsend /Whitby this is the place you need to say....oh and the lemon muffins at breakfast are to die for..The bus stop is 30 seconds away were it costs £3 to go anywhere .."

"A Perfect Anniversary Escape in Serendipity – Every Detail Considered We stayed in Room 15, Serendipity, to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. Thoughtful touches like welcome chocolates and a personalised congratulations message made us feel truly valued. Dinner was superb — beautifully presented with outstanding flavours — and followed by a surprise delivery of celebratory truffles. Serendipity offered direct poolside access via a private staircase, allowing us to step straight out into the sunshine for a relaxing afternoon with cocktails — the Hugo Spritz was a standout. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and attentive, and the spa provided just the right atmosphere to unwind. The personal touches really made us feel celebrated, and it’s clear the team takes genuine pride in the guest experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to return — and we’ve already recommended Feversham to friends looking for a special getaway. Thank you to the entire team for a truly memorable stay."

"This place is amazing for a nice night away 💞 Nothing is too much for the staff and are extremely attentive to any need Had a meal food was delicious The drinks from the bar were a bit pricey so make sure you take money Spa facilities are not massive but quaint Room was beautiful and clean "
