"Stay at the 1842 Inn if you want the vibe of an old southern mansion. It is clean, the rooms are furnished with antiques, yes some plaster is peeling, but the bed is comfortable. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast in the courtyard was enjoyable. I recommend for those that are not too fussy though, since the vibe is definitely OLD southern home."

"It was our first time at a bed and breakfast and it was amazing! I’m not going to lie our favorite part may have been the ability to make your own cocktails and sit on the balcony and relax! But everything was amazing!"

"Reason i gave 1 star on the customer service,we stood in the office area waiting over 20 plus mins for someone to show up,i even called the number 6 times and it just kept ringing,when someone finaly showed up,she had someones baby with her that she was watching,other than that,our stay was fine"

"This B&B was amazing! One of the most beautiful and welcoming places I have ever stayed. Paul, the host, made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. The breakfast was divine. The most comfortable bed I ever slept in. And they served a really nice bourbon from a crystal decanter in the evening?!??!! We will be back for sure!"

"The door to the room did not close all the way. The bed spread had a cigarette hole. Under the bed was dirty. The bathroom shower stall was dirty. The shower walls looked to have mole in the center. The windows and blinds were dirty. The outside of the room were very dirty. I finally had enough and left at 1:45 Am in the morning. If anybody is reading this please save your money, this hotel is for drug addicted and cheap hookers. "

"This is now our go to place when traveling through GA from FL. A lovely stay in a delightful historic home. The host is wonderful and check in is super easy. Beautiful neighborhood, easy parking, and there’s even a free little library out front. Highly recommend Famous Mike’s for breakfast. Some of the best biscuits we’ve ever had."

"The Gathering Place is an immaculate vacation style home - even the yard. We like to cook, not grocery shop, while on vacation, so we appreciated the large pantry and other large closets. The amenities gave all ages of our family fun things to do."
