"Well appointed house in beautiful surroundings. You feel away from everything, yet it is minutes away from shops and activities. Our group of 12 could comfortably hang around the various sitting areas and eat all together."

"The room was clean, had everything I needed and I really liked it. I did find the bed to be lumpy and uncomfortable. Despite that, I would recommend this motel and will return next year. Perhaps they will upgrade the mattresses."

"You could tell it was an older style hotel that has been remodeled. The doors do open to the outside which is not something I'm generally comfortable with but it was Culpepper, Virginia. A pretty safe place for a single, female traveler. The only real complaint I have is the storage of the cleaning crews carts. They were stored outside along the back walk way. It was raining when I checked in, it made for a difficult walk from my car to my room. Other than that, everything was fine. If you're looking for a good place for breakfast, Frost Cafe was really good. Also, if you like coffee, Ravens Nest is the place to go. For lunch, Dtom, Dtun and Pinto Thai. Both places were really good."

"My room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and I loved having a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Also had a safe for valuables. I will definitely stay again. Plus was the elevator. I had reserved a night at the Motel 6 but they didn't have elevators and no rooms available on the first floor. I told them I couldn't carry my luggage up so I wouldn't be able to stay there. I still got charged."

"This was our second year staying with Jennifer and the lovely homestead! While the weather was misty, it was a wonderful weekend in and around Shenandoah. Jennifer and crew are so hospitable and we felt so welcome! We are already looking forward to returning again next year!"

"Such a cute cabin and the perfect getaway! Kitchen is well appointed and the living room is a very cozy spot to curl up with a book in front of the fire. Bedrooms are comfortable and the location is great. You can stay in and feel delightfully removed from the outside world, or take advantage of several lovely vineyards and tasting rooms near by."
