"My boyfriend and I booked this trip and he actually proposed during our trip! We loved coming back to the cozy studio cottage. The view from bed is beautiful , the stars at night were breath taking! Easy to check in, place was clean the one minor thing was the couch bed is not the best for the back but is cozy and soft. We will be back !"

"This property is a refurbished boat house. I realize that all of the pictures are accurate but the place is WAY BETTER than I expected. First of all, the space is HUGE, at more than 800 sq ft. It has a king size bed, a futon, a couch, a dining room table, a huge desk, a bar, a full kitchen with breakfast bar, a washer/dryer, and a bathroom with tub. The dock is right off the back of the property. And because it's a boat house, you're surrounded by water on three sides, which was just lovely. We...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Portland. Dan was a very gracious host and was very responsive to all of our needs. The home is directly across the street from Fort Allen Park and if you walk down to the base of the hill there are walking trails where many people are biking and running. This trail leads to the center of town which is a walkable distance to the many restaurants. We did a ferry tour and highly recommend it. "This home is at such a great location. It was so easy to walk to great restaurants, shops, and other points of interest. The building is a charming townhouse on a pretty street and the interior is well- appointed, neat and clean. All the essentials plus some extras were supplied, from coffee to personal care items. Having dedicated parking was key. We very much appreciated how responsive the hosts were. They promptly answered questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay."

"We had 5 people staying at this Portland property. It was very clean and the perfect space for 5 of us. I like that they had AC units in each bedroom. It was updated and had all the essentials we needed, including linens and towels which was great because we were coming from NJ so it made it convenient. "My two sisters and I loved everything about the place especially the kitchen and the temperature control via AC or heat. The only concern about the place is that it took 1-3 tries each time we had to unlock the front door by code. There was supposed to be music to help but couldn't really hear anything. May need some attention but have to admit we never alerted anyone at the time thinking it was related to our ineptitude! I tried to do this review on the Vacasa site but the page never came up...
