"My family and I stayed at Bananarama 12 years ago and it was just as wonderful the second time! Laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, great food and drinks (here's looking at you Derry and Ryan) and the best dive shop ever. "I understand that the hotel cannot control the wind and incoming seaweed yet when it's been there for weeks (I found that out after getting into my room), has become stagnant and smells horribly, they should tell people before taking their money. They should also drastically reduce the price to compensate. People, including me, had to hold their breathe it was so foul. Could not use the deck in front of my waterfront room at all due to the smell. Had to just go inside and keep the door shut....

"Stayed 3 nights at the Blue Bahia and it was a good stay about which we really have no complaints. Pre-stay communication was excellent. Our driver was at the airport waiting for us and took us to Eldon's as arranged - super-nice guy. The way it worked out, we stayed 2 nights in the Sunset View 2 and 1 in the Sea View. "Great location walking out onto the beach front with dining, shopping & groceries in both directions. You are on the heart of the main street so everything in the area is walkable. I felt incredibly safe and we had the best beach views. The owner is lovely & friendly, speaking great English which was helpful! Room was a very generous size however we had a power outage both days (not the propertys fault, the entire street was out). Highly reccomend, very satisfied!! "
