"We booked this hotel based upon location, kitchenette and price. We were in Porto Alegre only the two nights we stayed at this hotel so it is difficult to comment on because we have nothing to compare to. That said, it is close to the few cultural attractions listed in guide books and the web. It is on the main pedestrian street in the old city and near the wet market. Little if any English spoken by staff. Breakfast the usual fare for a brasilian hotel in this category. Room was large....
