"Staff and breakfast were amazing, especially the breakfast! If you don’t mind a uphill walk its a great location but would recommend even more if you have your own transport! (Taxi prices are CRAZY) P.s. just keep in mind city taxes when in italy, hotels don’t have any power in this though."

"Can’t say enough good things about Hotel Villa Belvedere! Everything about our stay was excellent, from the rooms to the pool to the breakfast and lunch to the friendly/helpful staff. It’s a gorgeous property in a fantastic location — easy walk to the main part of town but far enough that you’re not in the thick of it. Don’t give it a second thought…just book!"

"Can’t fault this hotel. Very clean, staff were lovely and the pool are was wonderful. Our room wasn’t the most modern but bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Fruit at breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Short 5/10 min stroll into Taormina town. Perfect location and the bus terminal is just out the back of the hotel which is really handy. Close to the cable car to go down to Isola Bella too. We had a wonderful day and Pizzichella beach, with cheap sunbeds!"

"The staff at this hotel are so kind and helpful! Location is wonderful, close walk to town (less than 5 min!) but still quiet and right off the main square. The pool was lovely. It is however a bit dated, we had a junior suite and although very roomy, the decor could definitely use a facelift. It felt overpriced for what you got but overall very happy with our stay."

"Nice hotel - but needed a bit of TLC and a lick of paint. It looks like a relic from the 1970s and could do with a facelift. The staff were great, really kind and helpful; they all helped with my basic Italian! The location is fantastic- close enough to walk to the action, but quiet enough to get away from the hustle and bustle if you want. Breakfast was lovely- I don’t think they opened for evening meals. But there are plenty of eateries within walking distance. A great base to explore the area."
