"We had a lovely suite with a balcony overlooking the beautiful courtyard. We were warmly greeted and found the rooms comfortable. The breakfast was great - the fruit was fresh, some of the best grits I've tasted, the setting lovely. I especially appreciate the woman who took care of the buffet, she was friendly, attentive and on the second morning prepared fried my eggs so I didn't eat the scrambled eggs on the buffet twice. Finally, the location was excellent, we easily walked the downtown and enjoyed the local nearby restaurants.
The two issues are the parking (only four spots on site, the rest quite close to the inn but on a public road and the television. They use Direct TV which was at times unreliable. I highly recommend the Carriage House."
