"It's a little bit tired to be honest. The room was spacious and reasonably well equipped. But, the towel rail did not work and the heating system was a bit iffy, so getting the right temperature was a bit of a trial; and the first day was pretty chilly. The bathroom was odd as it was designed like a wet room, but the water did not like to drain into the shower area, so feet got wet every time I went into the bathroom - the water just laying there. "I have stayed at this friendly owner run hotel 3 times now.It is well situated only 2 minutes from the quay of the old port and close to all of the main attractions of La Rochelle also convenient to call back for a rest during a sight seeing day.The hotel has been upgraded since my last visit with good quality modern decor and a new bar and breakfast area that I chose not to use.Very clean and comfortable and plenty of hot water. No faults. Recomend."
