"I thought the property was lovely. It, along with the surrounding neighborhood felt like it was from another time. It looked and felt very much as it must have looked on DDay."

Only downside was dinner in hotel restaurant which was underwhelming in both service and food quality. However, if don't pay extra to eat there, stay was perfect."

"We had a two night stop over on our way to Bordeaux immediately before the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings so the on site parking was very useful. The hotel was ideally located in a quieter area which was an easy and very short walk to the town centre and beaches. The rooms were very comfortable and well presented and the breakfast area similarly well set out and and convenient. Would have preferred a more powerful shower in the room but overall a very enjoyable stay. "

"The staff were very helpful. I had a problem with the battery on my electric bike and could not remove it to charge it in my room. The lady on reception allowed me to charge the bike on the ground floor ensuring that I had a full vharge for the following day's cycling. Restaurant was very good."
