"From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and kind. The woman who checked me in was extremely helpful and had a great sense of humor. In the morning, the breakfast staff repeatedly asked everyone how everything was and checked in on us. We were able to get up, to the beach and swim, and then come back through for a quick snack before breakfast closed. "

"Very nice home, that can hold a large family or a group of friends. There was a bed for everyone in our group. Kitchen is equipped with everything, very clean, and all the beds were super comfortable. Property outside needs work. It was raining when we arrived and the entire driveway was under water and completely muddy. Very thankful for the garage, to help unload our stuff. Toilets kept getting stopped up and had to be tended too. This was the first home I was ever instructed to walk around the house and document any damage before settling in. Many things were found throughout the weekend, but one can not find everything upon arrival. Host should already know what needs to be fixed. I received a very long list of instructions which almost made us feel unwelcome. Many things were found in the house that went against the rules in my email from the host. That our group did not do. Overall this is a great place and I would recommend it to large groups. Very close to our favorite Weko Beach area. Thank you for welcoming us into your home."

"We had a wonderful time- the house is gorgeous and big. There is a spacious hot tub, bath tubs, a big kitchen with everything that you need. We used the grill outside and the kids had fun playing in the house and also the adults had a quiet time in the big living room. There were plenty of towels, soaps, toilet papers and anything that you can think of so your vacation will be perfect. The host was great and very responsive and made sure our stay will be pleasant. There is also nearby a place called Emma earth and Market that we shopped there for ice cream, pizza and olive oil which were very good. Thanks for a wonderful time, we will be back."

"What a great place for a big group. The layout of the house was perfect. The only thing we would have liked to have seen was maybe a small island, even portable, in the kitchen for extra counter space. The communication was great, they left us a little welcome package which was an extra great touch. The bedrooms were all great sizes too. They pretty much thought of everything (except maybe laundry soap). The house itself could use a little TLC but that did not stop us from enjoying our stay. Great place and great attentive owners. Would definitely stay there again in ever in Michigan."

"Very clean. Plenty of cookware, utensils and dishes. The view of lake was okay. Comms with owner prior and info book in chalet was great. Beds were comfy. Were there cons? Sure, what place doesn't. Beach was okay. The stairs were a killer for a couple of older people. The drive up ramp was a lifesaver. We loved the area. Easy drive to stores and eating establishments. It was an nice drive to St. Joe and different beaches. Overall a big thumbs up. Peaceful."
