Just completed renovations July 25, 2016, and more June 1, 2022. Back yard redefined to perfection. Quiet leafy neighborhood in charming Old Town, you will be within walking distance just blocks to downtown Grand Haven highlights and attractions; library, Central Park (with live music every Tuesday), downtown shopping district with dining, museums and galleries and Grand Haven's "Worlds Largest Musical Fountain." The scenic Grand River channel and boardwalk leading out to the Grand Haven State Park and Lake Michigan beach and picturesque light house pier just a stroll away.

1574 sq. Feet with 2 loft style bedrooms up, with privacy curtains, queen with twin beds in each, great view out large back window. The living room is cozy and stylish with a new queen sleeper sofa that converts to a master suite with French doors and summer curtain (this is where I would sleep) lay back and watch flat screen TV and have your private custom all newly tiled bathroom with whirlpool tub, walk in fully tiled shower with flat screen TV to watch from anywhere or listen to Pandora, stacked washer/dryer. 1/2 bath near kitchen with all new fixtures and tile. Dining room has table to seat 8, sitting area by a window up front. New kitchen island bar height, seats 4, plus plenty of room to hang.TV WiFi, all new stainless steel appliances, refrigerator, electric stove and dish washer, fully stocked for your convenience, also provided Keurig carafe and single cup coffee maker with coffee, teas and cocoa, blender, microwave, toaster, spices, dishes, glassware, flatware , cooking and grilling utensils, paper and plastic ware, & paper towel.
The kitchen has new slider that opens to a new extended, one level grey cement patio to sit and have coffee and people watch, grill out with with a 4 burner Weber grill and 6' table with seating. Beautifully landscaped back yard with a cement artsy patio in back with gas fire table, comfortable cushioned seating and bar with stools. Shade sail on both patios, just pick your zone for dining and entertainment, also 2 fountains for soothing ambience. Bird feeder to attract birds and wild life to watch. Two car driveway parking and legal over night street parking. Just installed a beautiful privacy curtain for each bedroom up stairs. BACKYARD TOTALLY FENCED IN FOR PETS AND CHILDREN.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The entire place was so clean and everything was in place to make you feel right at home! It was just a short walk to downtown Grand Haven and easy to access main roads to visit other towns. Highly recommend!

This is a perfect little gem to stay in. We had a great long weekend for baseball at this house. Easy walk to downtown Grand Haven and has all the amenities you need when away from home. We hope to stay again next year.

This house has been renovated from top to bottom and is very clean, which made us feel right at home. In all of my trips, I've never rented a house as well-stocked as this one. We also appreciated the helpful labels on lights and such. The backyard was so pretty and so relaxing. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it!

We can't say enough good things about this house and our stay in Grand Haven. The location is located within walking distance of downtown and an easy drive to the beach. We love the updates to the kitchen and enjoy spending time in the backyard. Our six year old daughter and dog love it here as well. This was our third time staying at Carrie's and fourth time in Grand Haven - we love it so much, we plan to return again next summer.

We absolutely love staying at Carrie's house. This was our second visit and we are already talking about scheduling our stay at the same location for next year. She has everything you need for your stay, is a wonderful host, and the location is perfect. It's a great house for anyone traveling with kids or dogs. Highly recommend!

The property is in a great location to enjoy the highlights of Grand Haven. Beautiful updated kitchen with all needed supplies. Would have preferred a coffee pot rather than Keurig only, but it was sufficient. Lots of sleeping space! Both bathrooms on level one, making it a little longer trip at night. Beautiful outdoor space for gatherings. Overall, a great place to stay while visiting the area.

Carrie’s place was absolutely perfect! She has the house fully stocked and clean! It was the perfect little oasis for relaxing! Our labradoodle loved the yard and his freedom walking around in the space! So close to downtown- just a few minutes to walk! We’ve already booked for next year and looking forward to it!

This is the first property I’ve rented that was so well-prepared for its guests. From face wipes, shampoo, laundry detergent, coffee, and everything else in between, the owner made us feel very welcomed for this stay! The home was beautiful and with a GORGEOUS backyard! The location to downtown was great and we visited downtown every day. Walking to the beach was about 40 minutes so keep that in mind if you plan to stay here. We didn’t mind it—always a good excuse to stop at Dairy Treat for ice cream! The host was easy to get ahold of and we would highly recommend this home to any visitor of Grand Haven!

I can’t tell you how much I love this house!! Carrie has everything you need to make you feel at home. Easy access to the boardwalk and downtown. We have rented the home twice. We will be staying for a third next year!! Already, missing the Terra Cotta Pearl❤️

The host was very pleasant and easy to reach. The home was beautiful and well-stocked with kitchen tools, bathroom linens, and some toiletry items. The amenities were numerous, including beach towels, beach chairs, yard games, a gas fire table, grill, etc. All the items were in excellent condition (we have stayed at other homes that advertised items for use that were broken or not well maintained). The outdoor space is relaxing with water features and plenty of seating for outdoor gathering. We absolutely loved our stay!

Carrie thought of everything we might need while staying in her artsy little house. Everything was clean and looked brand new. No worn out cast-off furnishings in this house! The walk into town was a manageable distance for a five year old. The fenced-in yard was well-cared for and we loved the park across the street too. I would return in a heartbeat!

First off, I would rent this house again if only to enjoy the enclosed yard. With the extensive green space, the enormous grill, and the variety of outdoor hangout areas, there's really no reason to go inside. But when you do go inside, you'll be pleased. The house makes great use of space, is very well appointed, and simply makes people feel very comfortable. Don't get too comfortable though, because you gotta get back outside. I'll definitely be back!

This was a perfect place for relaxation. Perfect location..not too far and not too close to all the action. A quiet little neighborhood. The owner supplied us with everything we could possibly need. Our family of six and pups had a wonderful week! Carrie even went above and beyond by shipping me a few things I had forgotten! The yard was great for grilling and gaming and relaxing. The big tub was the perfect ending to a big day! Don’t miss out on this little gem!

We absolutely loved this home. It was impeccable. Everything you need was there, and the quality of what was provided was amazing! From toilet paper, to hand towels, to tissues, to pot/pans, spices, bath towels, sheets, everything was great! The back yard was a dream...kids loved it and played the entire time outside (fenced in all around). Most of our meals were on the bbq, there was a high-end grill. The owner even left water, her favorite beer, juice and ice for us. She also let us use her beach parking spots when available, so nice of her! We are looking forward to another trip to Grand Haven in this home. Thanks Carrie!

There is no single word to describe our experience, except maybe to quote Mary Poppins....Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious. Because this was seriously the best stay we have ever had. Our family of 4 adults traveled with 2 dogs and we all enjoyed our time in Carrie's home. Her attention to detail is superb, from a fully appointed kitchen down to bathroom toiletries, from an ice maker in the kitchen to extra blankets to snuggle up on the couch. Not only did Carrie supply firewood and kindling for her fire pit, she actually had a fire ready to go for us in it! The location is also perfectly suited. It is quiet yet still close enough to the waterfront & downtown that we could walk. She had games and even a special gift for our newly engaged son & his fiance. We cannot wait to stay again!

We had an amazing few days in Grand Haven. The house was immaculately clean and comfortable. The owner thought of everything- from comfy beds, well planned outdoor space, and family games. The backyard is fenced, which we did not realize but were delighted to find as we brought our dogs and this made them more comfortable. She also provided blankets, chairs, a barbeque, and was a great communicator. The house is a few blocks away from downtown, which made for a quiet night's sleep and easy access to restaurants and fun.
