A small town but great place. Very genuinely kind folks there. Had a walleye sandwich from The Blue Moose and it was pretty tasty, fish was fried perfectly. AirPort is small (about 4 flights a day) so maybe lower expectations on some things there.

I was also pleasantly surprised at Grand Forks. It felt like a safe and clean city. It also has a great greenway along the river with paths and parks and other activities.

Very close to airport, The Ralph Englestead Arena, and Gateway Drive. So many great eating and drinking establishments but be advised, many are 21 and up only. Possible because of the gambling but it was a challenge when trying to accommodate friend

Unfortunatly the mall has fallen to the wayside of online shopping, no food court, and many shops have closed. Downtown has become a nice get away and easy to walk around.

Grand forks doesn't have much to do but we did luck out with a downtown blues concert and farmers market. Nice little town and very clean!

The Crepe and Tea shop is a must. The Silo Boutique around has great styles for a perfect price point.

The restaurants are great but the shopping is not what it used to be like. The mall is empty.
"Great stay, reasonable rates. Staff was incredibly helpful. Breakfast every morning had good options. Convenient with Boss Pizza next door. Good location, short drive to everything. Kids loved the pool. Keep in mind pool is small, but it wasn’t busy while we stayed so it was a bonus. Would definitely stay again. If we had to complain, the AC doesn’t turn your room super cold, so my husband was bummed and bought a fan. I was secretly okay with it lol. "
