"Our stay on the river in Mermentau was relaxing and enjoyable in every way. The high quality furnishings and appliances were better than any stay we have booked in the past, and the decor was so tasteful and fun. The outdoor areas were also very cared for and well maintained. We had interaction with the owner, Brad, who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a good one. 10/10 we will be back!"

"We had such a great stay! We spent the mornings and evenings fishing and crabbing, cooking our fresh catch, relaxing on the porch, and watching some incredible sunsets over the marsh. The camp was very clean, comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed with our 3 year old granddaughter while breaking up trip from Alabama to Texas. Quiet place and comfortable. Loved the salt pool. About 20 minutes from Lake Charles where we spent several hours at the Port Wonder Children’s Hands on Museum. Beautiful landscape around pool. Owner was very friendly."
