"We showed up and immediately were greated with a warmth of family. Within 10 minutes had helped pat fix a swing. Was later given a bike tour of the beautiful town by Pat himself. And that night came back and were offered to sit down and have a drink and talk with Pat as well.The house was perfect and location was just as amazing. With occasional check ups while sitting at the bar the owners made this stay feel like home. The restaurant they own was probably some of the best food we had during our entire week in the country. Cannot thank them enough."

"We only stayed one night as part of our tour of Ireland and wished it could have been for longer. Room was wonderful, very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with excellent variety/ quality available to choose from. Grounds were absolutely stunning. Took advantage of one of the walking trails available in the extensive grounds. Could have spent all day in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings but unfortunately we had to get off on our next leg of our trip. If ever find ourselves in the area in the future, we would not hesitate to return to Farnham Estate."

"Overall I had a fantastic stay again, room comfort was good, bed very comfortable with nice linen. The room was a little on the warm side - which I have to say I prefer to a cold room but I know some people do not like it. You can of course open the window if you are too warm. The bathroom was a little dated in places but clean. The Bar food also has to get a mention - daily menu had a very good selection and a welcome change from the usual hotel offerings of just fried food. The strawberry creme brulee is a must have. Overall a very good stay."
