For those persons who are not aware Arcs 1950 is a village of 5 or 6 apartment blocks. I believe some, if not all, of these apartments are privately owned but a high percentage are managed by Pierre et Vacances who seem to have the long term leases and provide reception services etc. My rental was private with the above...

"Overall the accommodation was good and a nice location to the slopes. Most of the staff were friendly but some I found were a little rude and felt we were inconvenient for them the lift took ages so we always took the stairs. Bar staff were very friendly. I would most probably stay there again in the future. "
