"Beautiful place a 15 minute drive out of the city. Stunning scenery. Two pristine salt water pools on top of the hill with a beautiful view. The room was comfortable, bed was great, and we slept with the balcony door ajar, it was so quiet. The dinner was excellent; they offered only a chef’s menu but they were gracious about making ours vegetarian. Not many other guests but enough that you didn’t feel uncomfortable. We were there on a weekday. "

"New, immaculately well kept and operated. This was one of nearly a half dozen properties that I stayed at throughout Sicily, and it is beautiful. I was upgraded for a small charge to the Superior Room which has direct access to the back yard and is slightly larger than the standard room. The owners are hard working and look after every need. "Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. Also a ton of ants in and around bathroom. Tissue box full of them. Breakfast which was included was poor. Very old looking tomato and cucumber slices and tbh v little...

"There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms seem well maintained. Best reason to go though is the outstanding dinner and wine from the owners vineyard. Overall a nice experience."
