"We had a very quiet, peaceful two nights at River Retreat. Thoroughly labeled kitchen (and beyond) was well stocked for morning coffees on the beautiful deck overlooking the backyard and river. The beds were comfortable (a rarity) and the space was perfect for four adults. We enjoyed the gentle freeze and sound of the river, so close to town yet private and quiet. Dellene was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs."

"I can not begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the "Hickory Cottage". It was beautifully decorated with all the essential needs. Brand new might I add. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great safe neighborhood. Out of town and in the woods but close to everything. Check in & out was easy. Don't miss a nap outside on the swings and enjoy time on the screened in deck. "This was our second stay at this home, though last time we were on the other side of the duplex. It is comfortable and had everything we needed for a visit with our son's family nearby. Good communication with the owner re: an issue with the washer which we did not need anyway but it was nice of him to let us know. An awning or some sort of covered entrance over the front door would be nice - we got soaked when a storm came through while we were unloading. It also needs more than one mirror so...

"Horrible experience! The house was filthy! Towels and washcloths were old, worn and mismatched. Bedding on queen bed did not fit the bed. Bunk beds had no bunkieboards and cheap mattresses. Dishes were sparse, random and put up dirty. Outdoor hedges are overgrown and house is hardly visible from the road. Vrbo refunded our money, but weren’t able to find somewhere else for us to stay on an already stressful weekend, as we were in town for my 10 year old nephew’s funeral! We will likely never...

"Visiting from Long Island to see my daughter’s friend who moved to SC. Property was perfect. Accommodations were comfortable and we had everything we needed to prepare some meals. My husband enjoyed doing some fishing and relaxing on the deck. We made a trip into Greenville to go to Falls Park, shop and have dinner. We enjoyed the Landrum farmers market, Looking Glass Creamery and All Good Things bakery in Tryon. No issues with checking in or out. Would definitely recommend and would come back"
