"We were EXTEMELY dissatisfied with the Zum Schweizerbartl hotel. When we arrived to check in, the hotel was dark, the front door was locked, the back door was locked, and nobody was there. It was starting to get dark and cold, and thank goodness our taxi driver (Martin Weiss - great guy!) stayed to make sure we were ok. "The apartment was conveniently located for our visiting purposes. The apartment was surprisingly large and had all needed appliances except for a washer and dryer. "You can not get a better location to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the area. The view is breathtaking, the bike trail to Garmisch so close, the bus stop down the street, and the mountain trail almost at your back door. Perfect!! The Marion Haus family is a delight to work with as well and the garden, little pools of water and Fairy lights around the house very atmospheric. An overall gracious experience!"

"Restaurant was excellent for dinner and drinks. Breakfast was great. Park at P5 public lot a short walk away and pay only maximum 12€ if you leave your car over a number of days. Free bus pass to castles - a nice extra. "
