"Stayed for a week and split time sightseeing between nearby mountains and Munich. The location worked great for this approach with lots to see and do within a 1 hour drive (we chose to rent a car). The apartment itself is great with a satisfying minimalistic approach that I appreciate, iIt is comfortable and quiet and perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The hosts were top notch with excellent communications and advice/help. Highly recommend."

"I visited for 5 days recently and was overwhelmed by the amazing apartment. The friendly owners clearly love their house and keep the apartment that I stayed in on the top floor immaculately. I had a huge deck and views out of every window to the alps. I could even see the mountains from my bed. There is a full kitchen with every cup, plate, pot, pan and utensil you could need and even salt and pepper and some essentials. The bathroom, living room and bedroom are really large and well furnished....

"Wir haben 5 traumhafte Tage erlebt. Die große, gemütliche Wohnung ist schnell zum unseren Zuhause geworden (leider nur für kurze Zeit). Den Fensterblick vermissen wir jetzt schon. Das Haus selbst ist tatsächlich ein Ausgangspunkt für alle möglichen Wanderwege, ob in die Stadt oder in die Berge. Unsere Bezugsperson ist sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit gewesen. Wir können uns nur vom Herzen bedanken. Wir kommen gern wieder und empfehlen das Haus und den Gastgeber weiter!"

"The view of the Alps is beautiful from the balcony. The sounds of the cowbells often in the distance. The property is far enough outside Fussen to be away from the tourist bustle but close enough for easy access to everything by car. The nearby lake See was beautiful."

"Very nice, clean and spacious apartment in a ski village. Lots of hiking trails in the area. A chairlift is across the street that offers spectacular views and more hiking trails when you reach the mountain. The famous Neuschwanstein castle is within 30-40 min drive from here. Definitely recommended."

"Michaela and her family were the most welcoming hosts. The apartment is located in the family farm compound and we got to interact with all of the friendly family members (including the animals!). Our 3 year old daughter loved the barn cats, the cows, sheep and bunnies. The setting couldn't have been more idyllic. The apartment itself is newly renovated and was very clean. "The apartment was conveniently located for our visiting purposes. The apartment was surprisingly large and had all needed appliances except for a washer and dryer. The apartment was extremely clean and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. As far as checking in, if my son did not live in the area to retrieve the key before 7pm, I don't know how I would have gotten the key with the long trip I had had for the day. "You can not get a better location to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the area. The view is breathtaking, the bike trail to Garmisch so close, the bus stop down the street, and the mountain trail almost at your back door. Perfect!! The Marion Haus family is a delight to work with as well and the garden, little pools of water and Fairy lights around the house very atmospheric. An overall gracious experience!"
