"If you want to be outside of the city away from the hustle and bustle, you need look no further. Josef, Heidi, Max, Erhard, Josef’s parents are all super hosts! To begin with, Josef’s apartment is set on a farm surrounded by breathtaking beauty. There’s someone makes for a peaceful, restful vacation. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing and maybe even a little bit better! It’s a great place to come back to after visiting and touring the beautiful city of Munich. It’s about 40 minutes outside of Munich in a little village called Assling. Munich is easily accessed by the very user friendly transportation system. It’s a lovely train ride into the city. Josef and Heidi were so accommodating from picking us up at the airport, taking us for groceries, and nearly daily trips to the train station. I can’t say enough about these lovely people. I feel I’ve met lifelong friends! I would come back to this place in a heartbeat. I learned a word while staying in Munich— gemutlich, meaning comfort or cozy. In my opinion, Am Brucker Moos is the only place to stay. ❤️"

"Excellent vacation rental. Much nicer than pictured. Mr Schmitt was a very gracious host. He had ready for us, in Engish, valuable information on train schedules, shopping and suggested sightseeing throughout south east Germany. The vacation house is in Moosach, 15 minutes to the train station, and 25 minutes by train to Munich Central Station. We would highly recommend anyone traveling to the Munich area to stay here. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Germany."

"We really enjoyed our 2 week holiday in Assling. The apartment was lovely. It is modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was a nice suprise to find we were welcomed with drinks, fruit and chocolate. The patio area was a lovely place to eat in the evening when the weather was good. The hottub was great for the cooler evenings. There was a conformable hammock too! The train station was a 5 min walk away which gave us the flexibility of not always having to drive. We visited Munich, Saltzburg, Kufstein and 5 gorgeous lakes. The town of Assling was only a 15 minute walk. I would definately recommend staying here. Freddy is a fantastic host."
