"Rooms were very clean, air conditioning was awesome. The staff was the most helpful, friendly staff we ever experienced at hotels. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. We definitely have our new favorite hotel in the Upper Peninsula Michigan."

"It was self check in. There was no staff present. There was no where to get any ice. Also no microwave or fridge in the rooms. These items are pretty much standard now a days. The bed was very comfortable."

"We got in late and left early, so we didn't spend a lot of time here. I have back, neck and shoulder issues and most of the time I struggle to find a bed that don't cause me to be in a lot of pain. The room seemed dated to me, but we didn't mind. The room had a lot of space for our family of four (more space than typical hotels). I also liked having a door that lead directly outside so we were able to get all our luggage in easily. I was thrilled to find that I slept well on the bed and woke up almost pain free. We didn't stay for breakfast, but grabbed some of the bakery items to eat on the road - they were yummy. The desk clerk who checked me in was very nice and had extensive knowledge and recommendations of places we should be sure to see while in the area. We enjoyed our brief stay. If we are ever in the area again we will be back."

"It's exactly what you expect, a budget hotel that is a solid place to sleep for the night. It was clean enough for some kids to sleep on the floor (since no teen wants to sleep with their parent, har har). Bathroom door was a bit sticky, which shouldn't be an issue if its just one family in the room. Had to move the microwave to reach a outlet; otherwise the mini fridge and microwave were functional. Free coffee in the office, no other breakfast perks -> but really, all's right in the world with coffee! So if you are looking for a clean, functional, basic motel room for the night; this place will do that job for you!"

"Excellent wooded setting! Our family enjoyed using this cabin as a base while we took daily day trips around the UP. The complimentary firewood around the campfire was a nice treat one night. It was great having a full kitchen, as we were able to make breakfast. The bathroom was small but sufficient. The window A/C units were appreciated. We saw a few ants in the home which was not surprising given the setting. The home was well stocked with towels, soap, TP, kitchen utensils, etc."

"You will not go wrong with this beauty! Communication, check in and response from Marianne was seamless! The house is perfect! It was clean, well kept and spacious! The view and waterfront property were absolutely amazing and the sunsets were mesmerizing! We enjoyed the peace and quiet while being about an hour from attractions! This was everything we were looking for and our only regret was not staying longer!"
