"we received an excellent recommendation for one of the best Dutch Restaurants in Amsterdam ,we followed up on the lead and it truly was a fantastic experience and even though we were only in Amsterdam for 2 days it made a very nice impact on our trip i did not get the gentleman’s name who gave us the recommendation ,but i will say this hotel and staff is nothing but Professional Stamppot Amsterdam is the Restaurant"
The James Hotel Rotterdam

"We stayed at The James twice during our visit to the Netherlands. First time we were located on the 3rd floor, good sized room, large shower, soundproofing great. The second time on the 11th floor, again a good sized room, although I preferred the third floor. Bath and shower in this room which was great. Didn’t use the 2nd floor amenities but had a look and there was a great selection available. Close to everything - station, shops, restaurants and sights. Reception team were lovely and very helpful when the national transport strike was confirmed, assisting us in getting to Eindhoven via taxi. Would recommend."

"Located in the heart of the city centre this small hotel is excellent. Don't expect lots of facilities, bars or restaurants, but the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful. I really liked the feel of the hotel and would stay there again if I was in town."

"This is an eco-friendly hotel. Most of the structure, furniture, etc. have been made by companies using recycled materials. It has an interesting lobby with access to a variety of coffees, snacks, and a sitting area. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom.The rooms are basic, but have everything one needs. The toilet, sink, and shower areas are all separate in the room, giving privacy. The double bed was against the wall, making it difficult for older people to get out of bed without crawling over their partner. We were pleased with the accommodation, but if you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not for you."
