Hamsa House

"Never traveled to europe before and being american, we have certain standards we are used to. Hubby booked this room after research. It took some navigation to find it, but once we did it was a gem of a place. Very quaint and inviting with a very modern remodel. Spacious bathroom and shower with all amenities one would need. Loved the nespresso machine and biscuit before bed. Bed and pillows super comfy. The only complaint (again being from US) was the echoing noise from other occupants. We had to remind ourselves that this building was probably 150 years old, and even though it was refurbished, it had thin walls and floors. We did notice that earplugs were provided (which gave us a clue as to what to expect) and were appreciated when a young group of friends had gotten home from a night of enjoyment. Had to catch an early flight so grabbed the 12euro breakfast at the adjoining property which was absolutely scrumptious. And since we told at check- in that we needed to get to the airport a cab was ordered and was prompt to arrive at 8. Other than noise, it was a cozy, inviting place to rest before a long trip back to the states. A fun experience and I would be willing to visit again if I ever find myself back in Barcelona."
