The approximately 68 m² apartment, located in a historic building dating from 1912, consists of three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a hallway, as well as shared use of the backyard garden with a barbecue area and a patio. The entire apartment is equipped with allergy-friendly infrared heating and flooring (laminate, tile, PVC). The apartment also features a tiled stove for cold days. In the summer, air conditioning will be available upon request (starting in June 2024). We want our guests to find relaxation and serenity in the apartment, free from the stress of everyday life, during their stay. The rooms are designed to accommodate up to 6 people, plus toddlers and pets (upon request). The main area also features a bar area where guests can unwind. Guests are welcome to enjoy the cozy and well-maintained garden. If clothes get dirty during outings, a washing machine (available starting June 2024) is available for guests to use free of charge. In the fully equipped kitchen (renovation planned for June 2024), you’ll also find a Nespresso coffee machine to help you start your day off right. There’s much more to discover at our place.
We’re a family of four who love our home, which is why we want to offer prospective guests, travelers passing through, and all other visitors a cozy place to stay where they can find the peace of mind they need to reach their next destinations. Starting in August 2024, we’ll also be living in the rest of the house ourselves and are always happy to lend an ear to our guests. If we, as your hosts, are having a barbecue in the garden, our guests are, of course, always welcome to join us.
Not far from the Thuringian Forest and the Hainich National Park, our accommodations are located in a city where Ernst the Pious once ruled over his Duchy of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg. The royal seat of Gotha thrives on its eventful history and, even today, combines early Baroque splendor with modern culture. Gotha’s Baroque universe, featuring Friedenstein Castle and the Ducal Museum, is a cultural attraction that draws countless visitors to the city year after year. In addition, numerous other historic sites serve as destinations for amateur historians and art lovers alike, inviting them to delve deeply into the history of this royal seat. But Gotha doesn’t just shine in the light of bygone eras; it also boasts a vibrant cultural scene that consistently delights guests from near and far with festivals, concerts, and exhibitions. From here, numerous natural treasures can be reached effortlessly and in no time at all.
