"We found the property to be much further from Inverness than we thought. It was difficult to find and my call to the property management company to assist with direction was never returned. It is a nice bungalow with a lovely view in a quiet setting. It was raining and cold, but the radiant heat was set low and it took overnight to be warm enough to be comfortable. "The property is gorgeous - homely and cute and nestled in a fantastic tree-bound setting with a small river close by that has a rope swing my children used daily to catapult themselves into the water. Jack is warm and welcoming. And the place is a short drive to the stunningly breathtaking walks around Glen Affric and Plodda Falls, which are straight out of fairy tales. One hint, though: stock up on food - the local shops are there but limited, and anyway you don't want to spend your time...
