"Creaking floor in an attic room wasn’t great. Nice view from the window, if you were very small. Tricky staircase to deal with and very low ceilings in corridor. Looked like a fabulous room was unoccupied on ground floor but we weren’t offered it (even for a price) Hostess nice and helpful but no English. Continental breakfast was nice. Great location"

"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "

"Had a great one night stay here. When we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly manner and were soon offered two bikes to explore the local area. Despite this being a bed and breakfast, we were offered an evening meal. The proprietors made changes to accommodate my pescatarian diet. Wonderful meal with most of the products grown in their garden. We asked to see their dog, and we’re soon throwing a ball for “Sister”, their black Scottish Terrier. "We stayed here for a few days around a rugby world cup match, and it was a really lovely start to our trip. The chateau is beautiful and so peaceful - perfect for when you want to retreat from the chaos! The bedrooms are spacious and so well made up, and we were provided with evaporative cooling fans in the room to help with the heatwave. As it's more remote, you will need to travel a little for lunch and dinner, but it's absolutely worth it for such a unique stay."

"It’s. Like a giant French home and you are the guest. The space is lovely and well located. Breakfast was served at a time you request and served for your party on the patio, deck or dining room. "Celine's property and lodging is just great, very comfortable room and bed, strong wifi, separate shower and toilette rooms en suite, and a very nice continental breakfast featuring Celine's brioche, yogurt, and confitures. Security is strong and parking is right outside the house. On top of all that, Celine is a very friendly host and is both accommodating and full of information about the area. We found her by accident, and we look forward to staying with her again."
