Great guest house
"Beautiful Georgian home run by Anna who also works at the Stalin Museum. Thế room was large, one of 3 upstairs. Large living room and kitchen and shared bathroom. Home made breakfast was included; we ate family style with all guests at a large table. Delicious and fun. HIGHLY RECOMMEND"

#architecture Joseph Stalin's boyhood home. View from the Joseph Stalin Museum in the city of Gori, Georgia. Joseph Stalin, former leader of the USSR, was born in raised in a small town called Gori, Georgia. The picture here is of his the small home where he spent his formative years. Although the rest of that neighborhood was demolished, his home was saved, and entombed in a structure to protect it from the elements. When you visit the museum, you can peek your head and look into the small bedroom where he was raised by his mother Kete and his alcoholic father who once repeatedly beat him so hard he urinated blood for a week.
