"The sleepover at Hotel Jozef was a nice short stay with some "surprises". The hotel has no reception in the afternoon, despite being written that you can arrive from 14h! I had luck to call them in advance by phone. We should get a key code by email. However, I did not obtain any! If you would like to stay there, consider contacting them personally after the booking. "The room is very well located and check in and check out is really easy. The host was super helpful and communicative. They even recommended a really good taxi driver that we used the whole time we were in Ljublana. However, the room was not very clean. The garbage from the last stay had not been taken out, so the room smelled bad. There is mildew in the shower and the showerhead which made the bathroom smell bad."

"Doctor 24/7 was very helpful when I found out I had forgotten medication. Hotel staff was helpful. We had a problem with ants and unfortunately didn't get a new room - but were given a bottle of bug spray. Massages were ok. Far from the best I've ever had. Breakfast was good. A bit limited on the gluten free selection - I realized the last day that the toast was and toaster were not gluten free. That was disappointing. Overall, I think it was a bit expensive for what you got but it was a great location/ Close to old town and the central station so was easy to make day trips from Ljubljana"

"A very nice hotel with a perfect view of Lake Bled. The pool was amazing and the sauna area was well done. The rooms are a little small and dated, however charming and comfortable. The main foyer and breakfast were both excellent."

"Good hotel but I felt it was quite expensive for the room standard. The view from the balcony was excellent but the aircon was weak and the bathroom felt dated. The location is super handy, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good and on at good times with plenty seating. The pool areas are a huge highlight of this hotel too- it’s great to have so many to choose from and beautiful views from the terrace. I felt we were charged a lot for extras I expected to be included, for example the onsite saunas. There was also a fee for lost room keys (and remember to take one per person for the pool areas so you cant get in otherwise). It was also the only hotel on our trip that charged for parking however I believe this is due to a bigger parking issue in Lake Bled in general. I would stay here again however- and booking the balcony room made all the difference!"

"Good clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good choice for breakfast. Hotel is situated on a busy road though a couple of miles from the centre of Ljubljana (45 min walk) Convenient for bus route to city centre with stops right outside hotel. Has a gym and a spa which we did not use which have an extra charge. Uber about 8 euros into centre. There is a supermarket and a petrol station nearby if you need to purchase any basic supplies."
