"The overall stay at Kirkill estate rooms was great and excellent. The atmosphere as well as the rooms were clean and great. They also provided every facilities such as kitchen, great outdoors and so on.The property had games room and other board games.They also provided every basic amenities during the stay. This property is worth the price and the journey if you are visiting edinburgh. "

"This is the real castle deal! We were thrilled be allocated room 4 in the large turret of the castle. A red four postered bed themed room with all the glory of days gone by. The bathroom was located down a narrow hallway near the door to the room and that made for some fun too! It felt really special! The ghost of Lady Catherine sadly didn't visit us and we slept like babies. Dinner in the dungeon was sensational and drinks before and after in the lounge rounded off the night. Brekkie was fab and the staff were super helpful from go to woah! Now that's a castle stay!"

"So far the most comfy and welcoming place I have stayed at while here. This was my first time in the UK and I’m glad to have stayed here. Good room for the price with breakfast included. Only snag is the place is out of range for taxi/uber pickups. They are able to drop off if you’re coming from Edinburgh but best to rely on Eskbank station or a rental car if you need to get back."

"The property was as advertised and the people who handled the listing were amazing. The cottage was located near the train station so getting to and from the city was very easy. The cottage was very comfortable and met our needs. If we are ever back in the area we will stay here again."

"An excellent property to rent outside of Edinburgh. Perfect for dogs and families. The cottage was warm and well lit when we arrived and the fireplace was already prepped with a basket full of logs. The manager of the property was very friendly and she came over to introduce herself and check we had everything we needed. Strongly recommend and will be going back."
