"This hotel was a 10/10. Room size was perfect. Amenities in room were good - kettle, microwave, and fridge. Great shower. Storage space. Safe. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of electrical sources. The communal kitchen was amazing to use and having a laundry room with ironing facilities was very useful 👌. The buffet breakfast was excellent and great value for money. Didn’t use the gym but it looked good. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Wish there were more Lyf hotels internationally 😊"

"No hot shower water in the morning"

"I stayed at this hotel twice on my trip, at the beginning and at the end. It was close to places I wanted to see. I chose a room with twin size, since it was just me. In both stays, room was too small for the price I paid. The layout was also a bit problematic. In the second room, hot water did not work on the sink. I did not try the bar. If you are okay with small rooms and do not have a large suitcase, you may consider this hotel."

"Laid back atmosphere.” Olde worlde” in terms of decor etc. Some rooms don’t have Air Con so watch for that. Reception staff are very friendly and when we did have an issue with lack of air conditioning (of which we were unaware) we were upgraded to a superior suite the following day. Quiet but v central. Bus to Coogee outside the door. Easy access to city centre too. Lots of restaurants and bars and supermarkets nearby too. Great spot! "
