"An outstanding hotel where you are made to feel like royalty from the moment you arrive. That entails free courtesy parking which, given how busy Church Street is, was most welcome. Our room was spacious and our bathroom huge, we've had smaller bedrooms. Everything you could reasonably want was provided in the room , which was immaculate. We ate in the restaurant twice. The first time our main course was lamb shank, which simply fell off the bone, accompanied by an excellent local merlot. On the second night we ate off the "set" menu, there were at least three choices for each course, with matching wines served in generous glasses. I had wonderfully tender ostrich steak and my wife Kingklip. There was an extensive breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, cooked meats and cheese. There were also a range of hot options. My eggs florentine were particularly good. The best feature of the hotel was the staff who were unfailing friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and they were always happy to help you. We would genuinely think about going back to Stellenbosch just to stay here again."

Ideal to be far enough away from Cape Town but still close enough and I’d highly recommend this property . We stayed for 2 weeks and the comms from Richard were very good . He was always very helpful and offered lots of help and ideas for our stay ."

"This is an amazing place that comes with a very lovely view. The couple who runs the inn are quite friendly and professional. They run a very nice hotel which is represented by their attitude towards their establishment. If you are looking for a quite and beautiful place outside Capetown, I highly recommend this Inn in Gordons Bay. I don't think you can find a better and more comfortable place ti relax. "We spent our last night in Boschendal in a werf suite. We were very impressed, it probably had the best bed on our trip. The cottage was well decorated and very well equipped. The staff were friendly and the food at the Werf restaurant was great. I would recommend."
