"The stay at Boutique Hotel Stockalperhof was an amazing experience, right from the reservation through Hotels.com to check‑in, stay, and check‑out. We checked in on a Sunday after 9 p.m., by which time the reception was closed, but the hotel had sent us detailed instructions through Hotels.com and directly on the main door code, and had our keys ready in an envelope on the front desk. The hotel has a lift, and the room was spacious for European standards with an amazing view of the mountains out of our balcony. Brig is an amazing small town in Switzerland nestled between mountains, with a cute town center featuring wonderful restaurants and ice cream shops. We were on an overnight halt on our way to Jungfraujoch. Wish we could have spent more time in the town."

"The Hotel Schweizerhof gave us an exceptional alpine experience. The staff were welcoming and gave us genuinely thoughtful recommendations. Whether suggesting hiking trails or recommending local dining options, their advice helped greatly with our stay. The room hygiene and facilities were in a spotless condition throughout the day. The accommodation provided us with a quiet, luxurious retreat after a day of exploring. From our balcony there were stunning alpine mountain views and waking up to those views of the surrounding peaks of Saas fee directly from the room balcony is simply unforgettable. Thank you to all the staff and management team for making our short time in Saas fee so memorable."

"I booked this place last minute as a solo female traveler. Right next to the ausserberg train and bus station. No social life. If you love solitude or need a place go crash for couple of nights. This is it!!! Or you are looking to hike at kandesteg( 25 mins away) It’s a great place to stay. Very clean!! NOTE - no elevator/ lift be prepared to lift your luggage"

"Old rustic charming hotel with breakfast lounge …..good value for money and clean room. We came in summer with ongoing heatwave so the rooms were warm/hot but hotel had provided fan when we arrived which was thoughtful of them Hotels /apartment in Switzerland generally don’t have AC but the staff was polite and helpful Recommend this hotel and it is located close to Brig station so can be noisy earlier in the morning"

"Easy walk from the mainline station. Comfortable room with good sized bathroom. As the weather was quite hot and the room warm owing to a lack of air con, it wasn’t that easy to sleep. But seating area and 2 TVs were a pleasant addition. Well placed to walk into main square where there ate lots of cafes and restaurants."
