"Artemis Ranch and Retreat is an absolutely incredible property. It’s truly like being on safari without going to Africa. Our hosts, Ty and Leslie, were so helpful and accommodating throughout our week visiting their property. Our grandchildren were in awe of the animals, from Tank- the rhino to the sweet giraffes, including a new baby, to the zebras and wildebeests, and so many more. The Vista Cottage and the lodge are beautiful properties. Chef Kourtney prepared a delicious picnic lunch for us on the patio at the lodge one day- the views were phenomenal. She also prepared a steak dinner for us one evening and served it at the cottage- again, absolutely delicious. Our last morning, the guys enjoyed shooting sporting clays. There are two wineries nearby with amazing views and fantastic wines. This was such a memorable time. Highly recommend!!"

"We enjoyed our stay! The house is spacious and the games were such a fun touch. We enjoyed playing pool! Beds were comfy, plenty of space to either be close and hang out with our family, and spread out when we wanted to rest. The views were beautiful! AC worked perfectly and kept us nice and cool on a hot summer day. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. "

But, I can't in good conscience keep it to myself. If you are anywhere in the vicinity of Texas, you owe it to yourself to spend at least one night here.We loved it so much we extended our stay!
