The discovery of Gold here in the early 1900’s made this town the largest in Nevada. Today it is ‘almost’ a ghost town with a population just short of 300. Parts of the town have been restored and other parts look like this.
Highway 95 as it travels through town. It follows the original roadbed of the Las Vegas & Tonopah Railroad, one of 5 rail lines that came through town during its boom days.
Strange but in an interesting kind of way.
