We had a nice, pleasant campsite in Maryhill State Park along the Columbia River in Washington State. This squirrel came by several times a day just to tease our dog.

"Such a quiet wonderful getaway, and a birdwatcher's treat. We saw a family of quail, plus ospreys, kestrels, and meadowlarks during our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet, and the host was quick to respond to questions we messaged about activities in the area. The Goldendale Observatory is close by and offers a wealth of knowledge at their evening shows. Plus Cottonwood Canyon State park in only an hour away and is a beautiful hike."

"What an amazing place to stay! Feels like a cabin in the remote wilderness with all the comforts you need. We loved sitting on the deck and reading, sleeping in late and waking to the sounds of birds, and just all around relaxing. It's also a short drive to Hood River for good food and exploring.Would definitely stay again!"
