"The property it’s self is very cozy, it’s not a super large hotel which was nice, it’s definitely dated but it was perfect for me, I wasn’t looking for fancy, I needed something cheaper and convenient and close to downtown. It’s about 15 minutes to the Church, 15 minutes to the harbor. The breakfast was tasty and a nice variety of items to choose from, free parking right across the street and access to a garage as well if needed, super close restaurants but still quiet and quaint. "This hotel was perfect and reasonable in cost for our arrival a day before our cruise. We arrived very early and paid a bit extra to be able to get into our room right away. The breakfast was a buffet and excellent. The desk clerk said it would be a 10 - 15 min walk to the famous church but it was further than that. There is an excellent restaurant a block from the hotel called the Reykjavik Kitchen."
