"Really central, great location. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Opt for the nicer rooms tho ~ we had one deluxe that viewed the harbor, which was excellent, and two that were cheaper...they were both very small and had issues with the shower design (got whole bathroom floor wet). The lobby bar and breakfast area were lovely. Would def stay here again."

They said they were sending someone up the next day, but nothing happened. When I eventually had one of the people from the front desk come up and smell it so she understood for sure, she apologized, brought some bathroom spray and ticket for 2 drinks at the bar. "We liked the staff and location. Food is very expensive in Iceland so the complimentary breakfast was great. There was a little bar if you fancied a drink. The lobby was cozy and was nice to visit with our friends. Our room 406 was oddly shaped if you are tall ask for a different room. It was also noisy there was a pub next door. We would stay again."

"The hotel couldn't be more centrally located. It is dead center in the middle of Old Central Reykjavik between Hallgrímskirkja Church and the Old harbour. It is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is a good value, especially with the included buffet breakfast. Rooms were clean and upgraded. Room had a large, comfortable bed, large wardrobe, wring desk and chair, phone and TV. Staff was more than friendly and courteous. With that location comes a price. The hotel...
