Rising Sun Retreat- peaceful riverfront views spa

"We had a fantastic stay at Tree Line. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The river and Mountain Views from the rental were awe inspiring. There is a little farm across the road with chickens, sheep and a llama that our dog fell in love with. The hot tub was so inviting after a day of hiking and exploring and it was so nice to see the stars that are blocked by the light pollution in the city. Some items to note for your trip: WiFi could be spotty so make sure to plan ahead. Shops and restaurants tend to close early. There is no dishwasher. The sole bathroom is on the upper floor. These weren’t issues for us but may be for others. I believe all this is stated upfront on the VRBO page. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Our stay at The Lily Pad couldn't have gone much better. My girlfriend and I celebrated some time off and her birthday. The views and accommodations at the cabin made for a smooth and relaxing stay. We loved the trees, mountains, the river access and the fresh air. We couldn't recommend this to other more looking for a nice couples getaway."

"The property was as described, a very cozy cabin perfect for the two of us and our dog for our “off-grid” weekend. It has all the amenities you need, even the Wi-Fi provided was reliable when we decided to watch a movie.We had easy access to the water front and if it weren’t for the burn ban, had an excellent pit to sit by a fire.This was a fun living space, and neighborhood to explore. But do note that it is a small space (which is what we wanted). Even if it’s only enough room for one in the kitchen, there’s ample area to spread out on the patio outside, play a board game/puzzle and fire up the grill!"

"Pros:-private beach on the river-STUNNING views!-clean, cozy, ample-sized cabin-jacuzzi hot tub-waking up to the sound of the river -so many large windows-the fireplace was delightful -close to hikes and a grocer -fully functional kitchenCons:-acorns fall on the tin roof early in the AM (this may be a seasonal thing?)-the water smells slightly like sulfur, but is potable and you stop noticing it after a while -automatic lock on the back porch door! thank goodness i'd memorized the code for the front door cuz otherwise we would've locked ourselves out late at night trying to head outside to look at the moon and stars-visible neighbors (hard to tell from the listing)-you have to climb a ladder to get into the loft and the bed up there is small; not a super big deal, but requires you to be able-bodied"

"Beautiful spot! Clean, very comfortable bed and great shower. Wasn’t as remote as I thought it would be because construction was happening at the house next door, but at least they only worked during the day and I was able to block it out when inside. Otherwise great find."

"The property was delightful to stay at. If the shrubbery was trimmed in front of the windows so you can see the river better, it would be nice. The mattress was super comfortable and my wife and I slept very well.We did feel that more comfortable living room furniture could be acquired; short backed chairs and a couch that you slide out of.There were no check out instructions sent to us or posted at the property. I contacted the host but their response was after we hit the road. However, we had completed the tasks prior to leaving and all was good.Thanks for letting us stay in this home. It was restful."
