"Had a cancelled international flight due to the crowdstrike issue. All the hotels close to KIX were booked and this was the next closest. Takes over 30 mins by train from the airport but the hotel is right next to the train station. Several food options in and around the station. Hotel itself was a lot more spacious than your usual business hotel. Was on the 2nd floor and I could kinda hear people's conversations outside. Something to be mindful about if you're a light sleeper. Other than that, it was a very comfortable stay and had no issues. "

The rooms are very traditional Japanese and are gorgeous. The food is excellent and the service of the food is really unique and incredible with dinners in your room. "The shuttle feature is great from the train station, although you need to plan ahead due to its limited availability. Taxi to the property was inexpensive and affordable from the train station as well. On suite onsen and private bath is a must have feature with a clear view to the river below and the forest. Dinner serve in room was beyond exceptional. Breakfast was a little disappointing but still good. Definitely making this place an annual tradition to revisit every time we're back in Japan."
